Beate Assmuth-Ong brought her talents as a stylist and manager to the US from her native Germany in 1992, working with the prestigious Vidal Sassoon organization. She and her husband Kendall bought MAS in 1998, bringing their innovative brand of hairdressing to Phoenix. Being a dedicated Bumble and bumble salon, they work closely with the NY based company bringing you the latest in hair care and fashion.
Education is engrained in the MAS culture; all their stylists go through an intensive 12-24-month apprentice program before working on clients. Beate teaches and oversees the color training. Annual education trips domestically and internationally ensure their clients have the latest styles and techniques.
Beate devotes much of her time to improving her community. One of her many philanthropic efforts is Beauty to the RESCUE. A fundraiser MAS began 18 years ago raising over $320,000 for local non-profit organizations dedicated to ending pet euthanasia.
