Success is the word that directly correlates with Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi at every level of basketball she’s played in throughout her entire career. During her 14-year career  with the Mercury, she’s a three-time WNBA Champion, four-time WNBA Olympic gold medalist, eighttime WNBA All-Star, 2009 WNBA MVP and the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer, and also won three NCAA national championships while at the University of Connecticut. Needless to say, Taurasi isn’t just the greatest women’s basketball player of all time, she’s one of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball. Her unwavering willingness to win, clutch performances and phenomenal play has garnished attention from some of the NBA’s biggest names such as Lebron James and Kobe Bryant, who deemed Taurasi the “White Mamba.”

While Taurasi’s DNA her entire life has essentially been basketball, motherhood became a new title for her in March of 2018, as she and wife Penny Taylor welcomed Leo Taurasi-Taylor into the world. Whether on the court or off it, Diana Taurasi knows what success is, and there’s no greater basketball player or person who embodies it.
