In 2016, Dr. Deborah F. Boland, D.O. realized how difficult it can be for caretakers to bring patients to a doctor’s office, especially when the patient suffers from many different neurologic conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, tremors, headaches or many other neurologic disorders. With her passion for high quality patient care, and an entrepreneurial spirit she witnessed in her family over three generations, she founded Be Mobile Neurology, a direct pay care neurology practice in which the doctor comes to the patients in their places of residence. She enjoys
establishing long-term relationships with her patients and educating them on ways to live a fuller life in the setting of neurodegenerative diseases.
Before medical school, Dr. Boland practiced as a physical therapist for ten years. She then graduated from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed an internship and Neurology residency at University of Illinois, and a fellowship in Movement Disorders at Duke University.
She has traveled all over Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and is pleased to make her home in Tampa Bay with all it has to offer.
