Originally from Pennsylvania, Libby’s mixology career began tending bar in the night club industry while attending college. Fast forward to today where Libby is currently a member of the progressive craft bar group and consulting company, Barter & Shake. Barter & Shake operates the renowned Tiki concept, Undertow, where Libby is the acting General Manager, Counter Intuitive in Old Town, and is set to open a new concept in spring 2018 in downtown Phoenix called Pobrecito.Undertow has been recognized by Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in the “Top Ten Best New American Cocktail Bars 2017” and Critiki’s 10 Best Tiki Bars in the World 2017. Libby’s background in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing, freelance styling in fashion, floral design, and event coordination has allowed her to excel in such a niche industry. Libby has been featured in the Phoenix New Times, Modern Luxury Magazine and Phoenix Home & Garden Magazine and competes in various cocktail competitions across the valley.
