Decades ago, it was rare for a woman to start her own business. Like many “mompreneurs”, Teri Davis decided to start her own business. It began in 1986 as a way to take control of her career while still being able to be there for her children.
Today, over 30 years later Sierra Signs’ has worked with hundreds of businesses, municipalities and contractors throughout Arizona. It is one of the few female-owned sign companies in a male-dominated industry. Her talent, hard work, and dedication produced elated clients and great stories of success. Supported by her staff of skillful professionals, Sierra Signs has catapulted to become highly recognized in her industry.
The journey from an education focusing on the elements of sign painting and design, to one inspired by entrepreneurship, Teri knows that her success was only due to her willingness to take a risk and seize the opportunity in front of her. Teri encourages other woman to take risks and boldly move forward with their entrepreneurial ideas.
