In a time when photographers seem a dime a dozen, it’s not years of experience or a vast online following that sets one apart from the rest. A born and raised Calgarian, Sarah Dempsey-Bauer knows the heart of a city that has risen and fallen only to rise again. She seeks out the naked beauty of a moment that is born in those instances, unadorned and candid. Sarah, a wife and mother herself, specializes in family, newborn and birth photography. It is life’s tender, intimate moments that she is drawn to —a glance, a touch— and the reality that some of life’s greatest moments are also life’s shortest. As owner and photographer of Ezer Photography, her desire is to allow people to slow down to invest, treasure, discover and capture life’s moments, big and little alike. For they are not just moments to remember, they are what defines who we are.
