Katie Shelton is the General Counsel and HR Director for Mako Medical Laboratories in Raleigh, NC. A North Carolinian by choice, she is a Syracuse, NY native who has loved the opportunity to give back to the community she has made home over the past seven years.
Katie completed her undergraduate studies at NCSU and continued on to graduate from Campbell University School of Law. Her opportunity to work with Mako came a week after sitting for the bar exam and she hasn’t looked back since.
Working for a company like Mako, whose mission is to passionately impact the community while redefining the healthcare experience for both the patient and provider, has allowed Katie to have an even bigger impact in the Raleigh community. She embraces every opportunity to give back to the community, supporting various non-profit organizations like Jobs For Life, ATHENA of the Triangle, and the North Carolina Museum of History.
