Dr. Marie Claire Bourque is a consulting psychiatrist for AHS, InLIV, and Caleo Health, Faculty at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine, and the incoming President of the Foothills Medical Staff Association.She has won national and international awards for leadership in medicine and mental health and has repeatedly been recognized for her outstanding teaching.Dr. Bourque’s mission is to change the way we approach mental illness. She believes that by taking a preventative approach and creating emotional and mental health, many mental health challenges can be avoided. An active advocate, she sits on several national boards and committees in the field of mental health and presents at a variety of conferences and retreats. She is a contributor to Thrive Global. For her passion project, she and her partners, have recently developed a group fitness class in emotional and physical health; Limbus, the first of its kind.
