Jessica Janzen Olstad is the Co-Founder of the Love for Lewiston Foundation. The LFL Foundation was established in May 2017, to honour their son Lewiston who passed away 3 days shy of his 6 month birthday, from a rare genetic disease called SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). In a year and a half, they have raised over $350,000 for Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, and SMA research and families. They not only focus on raising money, finding a cure, but also advocating and supporting SMA families, and encouraging others to choose movement, bring joy and spread love. Jessica has designed a clothing line produced locally to continue awareness for SMA. She blogs, teaches fitness and pursues the things that make her heart soar. She loves spending time with family and friends, a good cup of coffee, working out and soaking up the sunshine by the water, always with the daily focus to “run towards the roar”!
