Meet Ruth Everett and Tammy Nishimura: friends, fitness instructors and fellow dog lovers. When the opportunity to become business partners and co-owners of Dog Gone Running arose in 2015 they jumped on it. The chance to combine their individual passions for running and furry family members in service of Calgarians and their canine companions seemed almost too good to be true! Since then, Calgary’s premier dog running company has doubled in scope and size, adding pet sitting and an on-line delivery service to its roster. Currently employing 25 runners city wide, each runner is paired with a canine client for an hour session, which is then documented, photographed and blogged on the DGR website. This individualized service and attention to detail, coupled with the wide variety of dogs and dispositions they are exposed to, is what makes Dog Gone Running’s service stand out from the pack.
