Sara is a champion for philanthropy and committed to building the capacity of the community as evident in her volunteer service on multiple non-profit boards in Arizona. Sara has received a number of awards, including the prestigious Junior League of Phoenix Sandra Day O’Connor Community Service Award. Most notably, Sara recently founded and serves as President for Joyride Society. The Joyride Society – a nonprofit giving circle in Arizona, Mississippi, and Illinois – is trendy, fun, and exciting. Sara serves on the Association of Junior Leagues International Governance Committee as 1 of 9 members representing 291 Leagues in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Professionally, Sara is the Director of Operations for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for five chapters in the Southwest region. Through her consulting business, she has facilitated workshops and presented motivational programs nationwide. She inspires audiences to dream big, achieve big, and get everything done!
Personally, Sara has been a licensed foster parent for several years
to a teen daughter and a strong advocate for foster youth.
