Nicole is the former Managing Partner of the Phoenix Office of Quarles& Brady and Assistant General Counsel for the firm. Her practice is focused on business litigation and land use and zoning matters. She has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona for the past four years, listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2012, and a Southwest Super Lawyer since 2013.
An active civic leader, Nicole founded the state-wide anti-bullying initiative, Stop Bullying AZ/The Dion Initiative in 2012. She has been a leading voice in Arizona raising awareness of the issue of Adverse Childhood Experiences (“ACEs”). She is a board member of Charter100 Women, a Founding Board Member/Past President of the Women’sMetropolitan Arts Council, and an Arizona Equal Justice Foundation board member. She has co-chaired the RED Brunch, a World AIDS Day celebration benefitting Aunt Rita’s Foundation and Co-Chaired the Night for Life gala benefitting the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS. She worked on many community projects during her time as First Lady of Phoenix. She is married to former Phoenix Mayor, now Arizona Congressman Greg Stanton.
