By Erin Daniels, The KNOW Women

Celebrated from September 15th to October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  Annually, this month is a time to recognize the strength that our Nation has due to its immigrant roots and contribution from the Hispanic community.

Economically, the Hispanic community is expected to exceed 2.5 trillion dollars in buying power in the next two years, according to AD Week!  With every 1 in 5 Americans being Hispanic, not only is their community is one of the fastest growing, but it is also one of the most successful and affluent. When it comes to women business owners, Latinas have seen over 87% growth over the past five years. Showing up in all industries, Latina-owned businesses are not just growing, but they are thriving. This Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to honor our high-achieving, Latina KNOW women that are dominating in their industries. Support them by speaking their names into new rooms, booking their services, and buying their products, not just during Hispanic Heritage Month, but every month!
