Merrilee Kick is the founder and CEO of BuzzBallz, LLC/Southern Champion, a manufacturer of ready-to-drink cocktails located in Carrollton, Texas. The company produces and sells the top selling RTD brands BuzzBallz, Uptown Cocktails, Sip Sip Hooray, and Texas Craft Cocktails. 2023 Sales exceeded $177 million. The company has seen +50% growth year over year since 2018. As the only joint distillery, winery and brewery in the US that is woman owned, this company has gained significant recognition, boasting distribution nationwide and internationally. Merrilee founded her company in 2009 as part of her master’s degree program and has won numerous awards and accolades for her company and accomplishments.
