The 100 Women to KNOW Across America Award, presented by JPMorgan Chase is a recognition that showcases the most influential, achieved, and honorable women in our society. Following a nomination and interview process, these women entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and philanthropists have not only grown their dreams, but have created boundless opportunities for the next generation of female leaders. These women exemplify what it means to be high-achieving and ambitious on the next level and continue to pour into their communities as they do so.

Michele Smith is a Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist and ESPN’s lead softball analyst. Michele played in softball’s debut Olympic appearance in 1996 in Atlanta, GA and again in 2000 in Sydney, Australia winning gold medals in both Olympic Games. Michele serves on the Board of Athletes for Hearts, Clearwater for Youth, The Diamond Sports Allegiance. Outside of softball Smith has been successful in commercial real estate owning boutique beach side hotels, and The West Events- a modern industrial beach side event space in Madeira Beach, FL that hosts weddings and corporate functions. Smith currently resides in Treasure Island, Fla.
