MEET THE HONOREES

The 100 Women to KNOW Across America Award, presented by JPMorgan Chase is a recognition that showcases the most influential, achieved, and honorable women in our society. Following a nomination and interview process, these women entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, and philanthropists have not only grown their dreams, but have created boundless opportunities for the next generation of female leaders. These women exemplify what it means to be high-achieving and ambitious on the next level and continue to pour into their communities as they do so.

Jill is the CEO and owner of Catering Works, Inc which she started in 1989. Jill’s recipes have won local and national awards. This includes $10,000 for the grand prize in the Bacardi Recipe Challenge, first place in the Kikkoman-USA contest, one of 3 finalists nationwide in the US Foods Next Top Product competition. Jill has also appeared on the Food Networks’ “Food Fight” as a locally recognized chef and judge. In 2020, Jill and her sister developed an e-commerce business, Ella’s Popcorn. Jill and her team were awarded the food service contract at the North Carolina Museum of Art in 2021. Collaborating on Special Events and Operating the NCMA café Jill has a passion for helping the local community through donations of food and service, including Interfaith Food Shuttle.
