Member Code of Conduct

Our Mission: KNOW exists to help every woman lift and rise. To protect this mission, we expect all Members to uphold the highest ethical, professional, and moral standards. This Code of Conduct (“Code”) ensures that our community remains a safe, inclusive space built on our core pillars of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Standard of Conduct

As a Member, you agree to conduct yourself with integrity in your business, your public life (including social media and public presentations), and your interactions within the KNOW community. Because every Member represents the collective image of KNOW, you are expected to publicly uphold and promote our core values.

While it is impossible to list every behavior that might violate these standards, Members are expected to use sound judgment. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Illegal Acts: Engaging in any unlawful or criminal activity.
  • Discrimination: Behavior or actions that conflict with KNOW’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all people.
  • Reputational Damage: Engaging in conduct involving moral turpitude or actions that bring discredit, scandal, or ridicule upon yourself, KNOW, our employees, or our Members. This includes any behavior that insults, denigrates, or shocks the community.
  • Legal Risk: Taking actions (intentional or otherwise) that result in, or are likely to result in, legal claims against KNOW or its Members.
  • Unprofessionalism: Engaging in “spamming,” sharing Member data with third parties without consent, or persistent self-promotion that disrupts the community experience.

Non-Solicitation & Anti-Pitching Policy

To ensure a high-value, pitch-free environment, KNOW maintains a strict non-solicitation policy. Members are prohibited from soliciting products, services, or business opportunities within official KNOW spaces, events, or digital platforms. This includes unsolicited direct messaging, “salesy” discussion posts, or pitching during connection-focused programming. All engagement should be centered on authentic peer-to-peer support.

Enforcement

KNOW reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine if a violation of this Code has occurred. We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including the immediate termination of Membership without refund.
